64TEQ is Highly Commended CSP of the Year
Thursday 15th November marked the CRN Channel Awards for this year, and what a ceremony it was. Of course, Team64 committed fully to the black tie dress code, with tux’s and dinner jackets for the gents and floor-length show-stoppers for the ladies.
More than 1,600 of the industries finest gathered at the glass-fronted Battersea Park exhibition building to celebrate another year of success in the channel, and also to mark 25 years of the Channel Awards themselves.
The champagne reception on arrival was fantastic before we were all escorted into the main ceremony room. The tables were piled high with freebies and merchandise – you could barely see the bread rolls for the glowsticks.
The evening was opened by none other than comedian Katherine Ryan, who went on to provide consistently hilarious entertainment throughout. The food came and went remarkably quickly for the sheer volume of people that were being served at the exact same time, and soon the award winners were being announced.
Team64, if you remember our previous post here, was up for two awards; Cloud Service Provider of the Year and Rising Star. We thought, due to the sheer size, longevity and weight of the entries in the CSP category that this probably wasn’t our year for that, but Rising Star we felt we had a good chance in. As it turns out, we couldn’t have been more off track, as we went on to receive the incredible “Highly Commended” in the CSP category!
We may not have come home with glassware, but the evening was fantastic and we know exactly what to do with our entries for next year too. The Highly Commended result in the CSP category is a phenomenal achievement for us against such incredibly strong competition and one that we will continue to strive to achieve again and again for many years to come.
